About The Event
Vaulting is often described as gymnastics and dance combined on horseback. This clinic will provide an opportunity to learn movements both on a stationary barrel and on a moving horse at the walk. Vaulting is suitable for a wide variety of ages and experience levels and is a wonderful way to build confidence, coordination and connection with horses.
Karin Schmidt is an experienced horse professional specializing in vaulting. She will be joined by a small team of skilled vaulters to introduce participants to unique equestrian sport.
Participants will also have the opportunity to showcase what they learned at the Public Vaulting Demonstration that is free to everyone. This event will be held at 1pm on Sunday, June 7th at Great Turtle Park.
