Mackinac Horsemen's Association opens for the season.
Wildflower Group Ride

June 4-7th
Please join us on a spring group ride, hopefully, timed with the wildflower bloom in the State Park. Bring your own horse or lease a host facility horse for this 4-day, 3-night event. Tickets for this event include 3 nights all-inclusive overnight lodging for your horse, ferry transportation for your horse, 4 guided trail rides, use of a host facility bike, Saturday and Sunday lunch, and admission for 1 person to a banquet-style cookout at the barn on Sunday evening.
Cost to bring your own horse; $375
Cost to use a facility leased horse (all the fun, none of the hassle); $475
Guests will need to make their own hotel accommodations and can purchase a discounted ferry ticket for $21 if they are bringing a horse.
73rd Annual Lilac Festival

Celebrating Mackinac’s lilac collection began in 1949. The idea was to bring people to the Island to enjoy a great horse-drawn parade amidst the lovely lilacs that fragrance the Island in June. What began as a one-day event called the Mackinac Island Lilac Day has blossomed into a ten-day festival.
This year's theme is Legends and Lore of Mackinac Island!
Lilac Festival Parade

Celebrating Mackinac’s lilac collection began in 1949. The idea was to bring people to the Island to enjoy a great horse-drawn parade amidst the lovely lilacs that fragrance the Island in June. What began as a one-day event called the Mackinac Island Lilac Day has blossomed into a ten-day festival.
This year's theme is Legends and Lore of Mackinac Island! A team of judges votes on all parade entries with this theme in mind as well as other criteria for selecting those who will receive the coveted parade trophies.

Cowboy Cookout Annual Membership Party

Join us for an evening full of fun and celebration! Live Music, dinner, Silent Auction/raffle games and much much more! Tickets are $25 at the door.
Hunter Pace
Sunday, September 5 - Sunday, September 12
Teams of riders or drivers will complete a set route covering the island, and the teams to come in closest to the “ideal” time win. This event will take place over the course of a week to allow as many participants to utilize horses and submit times in multiple divisions.
Fall Colors Group Ride
Tuesday, September 28 - Friday, October 1
Please join us on a fall group ride and take in the color season of Mackinac. Bring your own horse or lease a host facility horse for this 4-day, 3-night event. Tickets for this event include 3 nights all-inclusive overnight lodging for your horse, ferry transportation for your horse, 4 guided trail rides, use of a host facility bike, Wednesday and Thursday lunch, and admission for 1 person to a banquet-style cookout at the barn on Thursday evening.
