About The Event
Open to children ages 12 - 18. Students will learn what it is like to be a part of a Mounted Police and Canine Unit!
We will be hosting a mock search and rescue training day on the Island. Students will participate in rescue operations conducted by St. Joseph County and Detroit Police Mounted Units as well as the Mackinac Island Police Canine Search & Rescue Units. Held in conjunction with the Mackinac Island Police Department, students will learn to run the Command Center, be a search Team Member and be a participant in need of Emergency Help.
Adult Volunteers are always welcome to help us keep the day running smoothly - so please consider joining your student and volunteer for the day!
