SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship for Mackinac Island Public School Graduates

 

The Mackinac Horsemen’s Association is pleased to offer a $500 scholarship to a Mackinac Island Public School graduating senior or graduate who is pursuing education in an equine-related field. The student is eligible whether pursuing a two or four year college degree, or a degree or license in an equine-related field such as Equine Management, Veterinary Sciences, Farrier Studies, Professional Driving or Riding.

Eligible candidates must be a high school senior or MIPS graduate with at least two years of attendance there, have a 2.0 GPA, and plan to continue his or her education/training beyond high school in any accredited equine-based training, licensing or certification program or institution of higher learning.

 

Completed application forms and materials must be submitted to info@mackinachorses.org or can be  mailed to P. O. Box 462 3800 British Landing Road Mackinac Island, MI  49757. 

 

Materials must be submitted by 5:00pm April 11, 2026.

The recipients(s) will be notified May 8, 2026.
