About The Event
Join us as we learn from the St. County Sheriff & Detroit Police Mounted Units on how to help our horses become calmer, more confident and reduce fear-based reactions to everyday triggers. Participants will work 1 on 1 with our officers and horses as we learn how they train Mounted Unit Horses to help build trust, confidence and work together as a team for safer patrolling for both Horse and Rider. Skills learned can be applied to you and your horse in everyday situations.
Check-in is at 1PM and sessions will start at 1:30pm
