Exercises over ground poles will be used to improve balance and coordination of aids needed for ring work as well as trail riding. Small jumps will be available for those who wish to work on jumping skills. If you are an adult rider who has been involved in the Adult Lesson Program and need a horse for the clinic, please contact Leanne Brodeur to utilize one of the 4-H mounts: her email is brodbunk@mackisland.com. (If you are not planning on riding, please consider auditing – we will have an audio system available for Sue so everyone can learn from her instruction - it is a great way to learn whether you are in the saddle or not! Seating is available)

July 29th - Youth Group Clinic - 9:00 am – 12:00 pm– no charge: This horsemanship session will focus on flat work and work over ground poles to improve the use of the rider's aids and communication/response from the horse. Basics will be covered and exercises will be tailored for individual capabilities. Small jumping exercises will be available for those who wish to work over fences as well.

Private Lessons: Sue will make her time available in the afternoon of July 29th on a first come first serve basis for private lessons between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. $30.00 for semi-private (2 riders) and $40.00 for private instruction. Each lesson will be for 45 minutes – please note your preferred time and we will try to accommodate your request. You will be contacted with the lesson times on Wednesday July 28th.
